This weekend saw the running of the first Formula Ford Euro cup at Zandvoort in Holland. Most UK Championship contenders were there as were drivers from the Benelux, Danish and Finish national championships.

Dan Cammish, this weekend driving a Premier Powered JTR Mygale for the first time won the first race in very hot weather conditions. Dennis Lind, driving the Fluid Motorsports Van Diemen showed amazing car control in the wet to win the second race and hence grab the title of Euro cup Champion. Dan Cammish continued his good weekend with a second place in the second race. “The Zandvoort circuit is a mixture of fast and slow corners and a very fast straight. This circuit proves that our engines are set up to give good torque for corner exit speed as well as good top end speed for the straights.”
